Drive Thru Graduation Procedure for Graduates
Students should sign up for the time slot that best works for them and their families using the link here. This is a time to celebrate - please decorate your cars and come prepared to cheer for your graduate! Graduates and their families should plan to arrive as close to their chosen time as possible and MUST attend during their chosen time frame. Failure to do so will result in the graduate not participating.
The Graduate and their family will be allowed one car for the event.
Enter campus from the Norco College parking lot.
You will then follow the route directions on the map below and end at the front of the school building.
Stop your vehicle at each station including Check-In where you will receive a program, your name card, and a commemorative mask.
The Graduate will follow these procedures:
Remove their personal face covering and receive a commemorative face covering that may be worn during the ceremony.
Walk up the south stairs and hand your name card to the faculty member reading names.
Walk to the commencement stage area where you will be greeted by JFK and CNUSD Administration (no contact or handshaking).
One parent or family member will be permitted to leave the car to take a photograph from the marked position on the sidewalk. Please have someone other than the driver prepared to take photos of the graduate.
After receiving their diploma cover, the graduate will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Dr. Gonzales by a professional photographer. These will be available for purchase from DC Photography. (The pictures will be available here one week after graduation. Click the view proofs tab and enter your student ID in the box. Orders placed by June 15, 2020 will receive free shipping with the code: FREESHIP.)
The graduate will then walk down the north stairs where they will have an additional individual picture taken before returning to their vehicle.

Boys: dress shirt/tie and slacks with CAP AND GOWN
Girls: dress or pants with CAP AND GOWN
