CNUSD transitioned into the one-to-one digital learning environment like most school districts in the late spring of 2020.  Although pandemic conditions required our teachers and students to teach and learn in the virtual environment, our educators have progressed in the daily use of these digital tools to enhance our students’ daily learning experiences.  Today, all of our students have access to our Learning Management Systems via district provided Chromebooks, and our teachers participate in on-going professional learning opportunities to expand their pedagogical skills in this environment.  Additionally, our staff is leveraging our one-to-one device program to increase school-to-home communications and to educate our parent community in Digital Citizenship skills to better support our students in the digital world.

The Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) fosters a culture that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of students, staff, and parents. In an effort to continuously support this commitment, the District has approved an agreement with Care Solace.
Care Solace is a no-cost online resource with a live 24x7 concierge line meant to assist individuals in finding local mental health-related programs and counseling services. To use Care Solace, individuals answer ten basic questions in order to receive an extensive list of referrals to applicable care providers. Care Solace takes into account all types of private insurance including Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and Medicare and those that have no insurance. The system also filters by age, gender, zip code, and special request.
